Local MP Simon Hart has taken part in a special service to mark Armed Forces Day in Pembroke Dock.
The event at the Garrison Chapel in the Dockyard was organised by Pembroke and Pembroke Dock Town Councils to raise public awareness of the contribution made to our country by those who serve and have served in HM Forces.
Mr Hart said: "Armed Forces Day is a great opportunity for us to show our appreciation for all those who wear the uniform, their families, veterans and cadets.
"We all owe a huge debt to our brave service personnel who work tirelessly keeping this country safe.
"I was able to visit the Falkland Islands this year to see the live operation that is still active there and to share the experiences of the sailors, soldiers and airmen serving so far from home."
"The Government and the Conservative party are both committed to providing for our troops. In the past year we have already doubled the operational allowance and introduced a pupil premium to help with the education of our forces children. It is with these practical policies that we show our commitment and gratitude to our brave forces.'
