Local MP Simon Hart is pictured with representatives from Unite the Union, the GMB Union and contractor representatives from the Engineering Construction contractors working on the new Pembroke CCGT Power Station.
They met to discuss employment issues surrounding the £1 billion, three-year project to build the gas fired station.
"We had a very useful meeting as there were a number of issues to discuss regarding employment policy on site, including that of foreign workers" said Mr Hart.
"I was really encouraged by the positive attitude and commitment of the Trades Unions and employers to our local workforce and the terms of the National Agreement for the Engineering Construction Industry (NAECI) that controls the recruitment process.
"I hope that this will be part of an ongoing, full and frank dialogue between myself, the unions and contractors and the local community. We look forward to working together to ensure the best for all workers in the Pembrokeshire area."
