The finale of a week of Climate Change events held at Tavernspite School was a poster competition judged by local MP Simon Hart.
The whole school got involved in a series of events to mark the special week including taking part in energy workshops, listening to assembly led by Tim Brew from West Wales Eco and watching the environmental film "Beyond the Brink."
"We also turned the lights off for an extra hour during school, took part in energy workshops and learned about climates around the world," said class teacher Julie Houghton, the school's green champion.
"Everyone was encouraged to write down actions for our Climate Change pledge wall and the children even came to school dressed in green on Friday," she added.
Mr Hart, who also led an assembly at the school, picked the winning entries for each age group from dozens of posters. "It's wonderful to visit a school that takes tackling Climate Change so seriously and I had a very hard job picking the winners."
