They were on hand to tell representatives from charities across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire how to maximise their chances of bidding successfully for Lottery grants. Information was also handed out about the funding available through Sports Wales and the Heritage Lottery Fund.

"It was very appropriate that we held the event at the Memorial Hall as it has only just reopened after a refurbishment partly paid for with Lottery money," said Mr Hart.

"We were sitting in a very good example of how Lottery grants can work for people in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. I wanted to help the organisations reach out to as many local good causes as possible to help increase their chances of success."
