Local MP Simon Hart is highlighting a new House of Commons inquiry into the future of the Coastguard service.
The cross-party Transport Select Committee is looking into the coastguard service as well as plans for emergency towing vessels.
Mr Hart said: "The reports written by Commons Select Committees are taken very seriously and everyone with a view about the proposed changes to the Coastguard should make an effort to give evidence."
Evidence needs to be given by April 26th and people can submit a copy of their submission to the Government's ongoing coastguard consultation if they want.
Mr Hart added: "Preseli Pembrokeshire MP Stephen Crabb and I have already made a submission to the Government consultation pointing out that knowledge of the local area, accents and Welsh language is important, especially in crisis situations. I also highlighted the increased usage of the Milford Haven waterway by many different sorts of vessel and the importance of public confidence in the coastguard.
"I shall be passing these comments on to the Transport Select Committee inquiry as well and would urge others to make their voice heard."
