Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire MP Simon Hart is urging local farmers not to miss the chance to have their say on red tape.
The deadline for the Government inquiry into the best way to cut farm regulation closes on October 31st.
"When I surveyed all the farmers in my constituency about a year ago they told me that by far the biggest worry they had was too much red tape," said Mr Hart.
"Since becoming an MP I have continued to hear from the farming unions and farmers first hand that the amount of form filling and paperwork necessary, especially for things like the Single Farm Payment and cattle passports, is taking them to breaking point."
The Coalition Government set up the Review of Farm Regulation in July and wants farmers, growers and food processors to suggest ways to help cut bureaucracy.
"The Department of Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs wants to hear about how red tape affects business," added Mr Hart. "But it doesn't just want to hear gripes but constructive ways of making the system simpler as well."
Comments can be made on farm animals, growing and crops, food processing, business and management and the environment and land management.
