South Pembrokeshire MP Simon Hart is pictured at Greenhill School in Tenby with headteacher Janet Kingston and head of Sixth Form Julian Dessent
Mr Hart was visiting the school to speak to Year 12 students about life as an MP (also pictured).
"I told them how I got involved in politics in the first place and about my values and beliefs," he said.![]()
"So many youngsters say they "don't do politics" but it's impossible to live a politics-free life – everything from the amount of car tax they pay to what's on their school curriculum is decided by politics."
The students then put Mr Hart under the spotlight in a half hour question and answer session.
"They asked me about everything from lowering the voting age to the badger cull and kept me on my toes," he added.
