Celtic Holiday Parks Managing Director Huw Pendleton and his team joined in the ‘celebration of the country’s tourism industry’ by showcasing an exciting new multi-million pound refurbishment programme at Meadow House Holiday Park, Amroth, to MP Simon Hart.
In fact, it was a double celebration as Huw and co-owners, his parents Vic and Ann, who also own Noble Court and Celtic Escapes in Narberth and Croft Country Park in Reynalton, are celebrating their 20th anniversary in the tourism trade this year.
To mark the major milestone, the state-of-the-art development at Meadow House will house a brand new bar and restaurant, guest welcome area and holiday home advice centre.
The restaurant and bar will promote the "Charlie’s" brand, already well-established at Croft Country Park, Reynalton, but at Meadow House will specialise in a mouthwatering steak, grill and pizza menu which will be open to the general public all year around.
Once open, the new facility will enhance the stunning setting of Meadow House with its breathtaking cliff-top scenery and luxury hot tub lodges and static holiday homes.
Said Huw: “We're delighted that the Parks continue to develop, offering an outstanding product in the tourism economy of Pembrokeshire... This project alone has created another 6 permanent new jobs, bringing our total staffing compliment to over 50. It's hugely rewarding seeing the "Charlie's" brand grow, providing both locals and visitors with another fantastic dining choice."
Added Simon Hart "I always enjoy Wales Tourism Week and visiting an array of businesses in the area. Tourism sustains our local community and accounts for thousands of jobs in the area. It also relies on the entrepreneurial spirit of people like the Pendletons and many other similarly energetic and innovative business people in the area.
