The ongoing closure of an A road blocked by a fatal landslip in October will be discussed at a public meeting being organised by Simon Hart MP.
The A484 between Cynwyl Elfed and Cwmduad has been blocked since a major landslide washed a lorry into the river and killed 21-year-old Corey Sharpling during Storm Callum.
"The ongoing closure and the the 23-mile diversion has been raised with me by so many people that I decided to organise this meeting," said Mr Hart.
"Local residents are frustrated at the lack of information and apparent lack of activity at the site, I can understand their feelings as this is causing a major headache for many."
The meeting on Thursday night (17th Feb), which is also being attended by the local county councillor Irfon Jones and members of the community council, will give people a chance to air their views and get an update on what's happening.
"I have been working closely with Carmarthenshire County Council's highways department and am being regularly updated about the project," explained Mr Hart. "I appreciate people's frustration at the situation and the meeting will give them a chance to have a say. I will collate all their comments and feed that back to the council and try to keep the information flowing both ways."
*The meeting will take place at 7.30pm at the Cwmduad Community Centre on Thursday February 17th. If you'd like to attend then email firstname.lastname@example.org
